Following the biggest and most successful season in our history, we're excited to announce that registration is now open for the Nova Scotia Minor Ball Hockey -  Halifax Fall League - 2026!

We can't wait to welcome players and families back to Gorsebrook Park for another exciting season of outdoor ball hockey.

Season Details

Location: Gorsebrook Park, Halifax

Game Day: Saturdays between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Opening Day: Saturday, August 29

Final Day: Saturday, October 24

A complete schedule will be posted before the season begins. Teams will generally play at a similar time each week to help families plan ahead.

The Fall Season is a great opportunity for players to continue developing their skills, stay active outdoors, build friendships, and enjoy another exciting season of fast-paced ball hockey.

Age Divisions (Based on Year of Birth)

U-8: Players born in 2018, 2019, 2020, or 2021

U-10: Players born in 2016 or 2017

U-12: Players born in 2014 or 2015

U-15: Players born in 2011, 2012, or 2013

Skills Development

Weekly session will include a dedicated skills development component designed to build confidence and improve the fundamentals of the game. Players will work on areas such as passing, shooting, stickhandling, positioning, game awareness, and teamwork.

Additional details about the skills development program will be shared before the season begins.

Buddy Requests

Players may request to play with up to two friends.

Our first priority is creating balanced teams that provide fun, competitive games for everyone. Once teams have been balanced, we'll do our very best to accommodate buddy requests whenever possible.

Space is limited, and several divisions are expected to fill quickly.
